Cineliteracy can be implemented at all stages of schooling from Stage 1 to Stage 6. These materials have been designed to assist teachers to develop stage appropriate units of work.
There are eight focus areas in the teaching materials. These are colour-coded throughout the resource. It is suggested that in developing units of work that one or more activities from each of the focus areas are used.

Teacher information: important background information and links to web-based resources and information
Activities: teaching and learning ideas
Activity sheets: printable sheets for use with the teaching and learning ideas.
The DVD in this kit includes student-produced films and materials that support the teaching and learning activities.
